This escorted tour embraces the three Baltic countries, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, each of which has its own distinctive cultural tradition and historical heritage. The English speaking guides accompany you throughout the tour and introduce you to the main sights of each city. Choose accommodation from 3 star to 4-5 star option.

Price is based on 2 people sharing a room and includes return flights to Vilnius and back from Tallinn, private return airport transfers in Vilnius and Tallinn, welcome drink, accommodation for 7 nights, Breakfast each morning, Sightseeing tours as per itinerary, 1st class Coach and English speaking guide services throughout the journey, State and city taxes and individual information package (city guides, maps, restaurant suggestions).

ITINERARY

Saturday: Arrival Vilnius
Fly to Vilnius via Helsinki with Finnair. Private transfer to your hotel. Check-in at chosen hotel and welcome meeting at 20.00 in hotel lobby with tour representative. 

Sunday: Vilnius
Morning - Vilnius sightseeing tour including visits to the medieval as well as modern sections of the city. See the Grand Cathedral of Peter & Paul, the small church of St. Anna –
a gem of Gothic architecture and University of Vilnius. Afternoon at leisure or you can join the optional tour to the medieval capital of Lithuania, Trakai, on Galves Lake (27 km). On the beautifully situated island in the middle of the lake there is the 14th century red brick castle, which now houses the History Museum. Afternoon at leisure.

Monday: Vilnius – Riga
After breakfast, departure by coach to Riga. En route we will visit the Hill of Crosses – a famous hill with more than a thousand crosses - and the splendid 18th century Rundale Palace - the former summer residence of the Duke of Kurland. Arrival in Riga, check-in at chosen hotel.

Tuesday: Riga
After breakfast Riga City Tour. The Old Town will delight you with the colorfully restored merchant’s residences, the cosy beer cellars and cafes, historical monuments like the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, the Powder Tower and more. View the masterpieces of early 20th century Art Nouveau architecture. Afternoon at leisure.

Wednesday: Riga
Optional Sigulda sightseeing tour. Sigulda is often called the "Latvian Switzerland" because of the beauty of its landscape. Visit the 13th century Knight’s Castle, the mysterious Gutmana Cave linked to a romantic medieval love legend. Afternoon at leisure.

Thursday: Riga - Tallinn
After breakfast departure by coach to Tallinn. En route sightseeing at the Ethnographical Open Air Museum on the outskirts of Riga to see traditional Latvian rural buildings, the oldest ones dating from the 17th century. View the Baltic Sea Coast along the way and enjoy a sightseeing orientation of the Estonian Town Parnu. Arrival in Tallinn, check in at chosen hotel.

Friday: Tallinn
After breakfast Tallinn City tour visiting the medieval town. Afternoon at leisure or you can enjoy optional tour to Kadriorg Park and Palace, which was founded 1721 by the Russian Emperor Peter the Great as a gift to his wife Catherine II to use as summer residence.

Saturday: Tallinn
Breakfast and check out. Private transfer to Tallinn airport and flights home via Helsinki.

3 star hotels on Classic Baltics tour

Your accommodation is booked in centrally located 3 star hotels. Following hotels are used: Hotel Panorama in Vilnius, Hanza Hotel in Riga and Metropol Hotel in Tallinn. The recently-renovated Panorama hotel is located on a hill
adjacent to the Old Town and the bus/railway station. The Panorama hotel was recently renovated and has 224 modern and comfortable rooms and boasts fine views of Vilnius city. The large restaurant offers European cuisine
and has a capacity of 164 persons. Hanza Hotel is one of the newest hotels in Riga city centre, located next to the Central Market. The hotel has 80 spacious and modern rooms as well as the Hanza Pub and Mercator restaurant, which serve delicious food and drinks. Fresh ingredients from the market are used daily. The Hotel Metropol has 149 rooms and is located in the recently restored Rotermanni section in the centre of Tallinn.
