Copenhagen city break

from £560 per person

The chic capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, is situated on the island of Sealand and is the largest city in Scandinavia. This humble fishing village developed into glittering capital of the Danish Empire of the olden times and further on to its current position as one of the world's premier design capitals and Scandinavia's pre-eminent city

Because the city is so compact, most of the sights can be seen on foot. Copenhagen and its surroundings has something rather special up its sleeve in the art and design department. Copenhagen's architectural richness is one of the first things that strikes new visitors to the city. From the delightful 17th century Dutch-style town houses that line the quay at Nyhavn to the dynamic modern extensions to venerable old buildings. And the museums house impressive collections of both classic and modern - Danish and international art and design.

Copenhagen has so much to offer not only for design buffs but also for anyone who appreciates beautiful surroundings, mouth watering cuisine and historical buildings. Tivoli Gardens is a must not only for families but also for those children at heart. We have included a Copenhagen Card which allows you to explore the city at your own pace.

Price is based on 2 people sharing a room and includes return flights, all airport taxes and 3 nights at Hotel Admiral and 3 breakfasts. If you are travelling between Sep-Oct 2010, you will get a free 24 hour Stockholm city card (worth up to £34) including public transport, admission to museums and attractions and discounts on tours and restaurants.

Departures every day May-October 2010.
