Circle Iceland in just six action-packed days, staying in the homes, guesthouses, cottages and country hotels of real Icelandic farmers. Nearly 140 of Iceland’s farmers are licensed to accommodate travellers and there are few better ways to experience Icelandic culture than to hear the stories of those who till its rich volcanic soil. With a day either side to soak up the spoils of Reykjavik, this tour is ideal for those who don’t have much time but are keen to explore the many natural wonders along Iceland’s well-laid ring road.
Gaze at the waterfalls along the south coast, cruise among the icebergs on Jökulsárlón lagoon and glide across the Vatnajökull glacier. Explore the quaint fishing villages of Iceland’s east coast, bedded between fjords and dramatic mountains, dip your toes in the natural baths of the Mývatn area and travel north and south-west through the heartlands of the old Icelandic sagas.
