Celebrate at sea on this round-trip cruise from Stockholm to Helsinki. Start in the Swedish capital with a night at the Hotel Diplomat. Explore the buzzing old town, Gamla Stan, try a locally brewed beer or two and don’t forget to visit the fascinating Vasa Museum. On 30 December you’ll board a Tallink Silja ship and sail out through the beautiful Stockholm archipelago, past floating pack ice and nature’s own ice sculptures, arriving the next morning in Helsinki. You’ll have nearly the whole day to explore the Finnish capital, ducking into museums or stopping off at cafes for cinnamon buns and steaming hot chocolate. The cruise reaches its crescendo as you sail back to Stockholm, seeing in the New Year with a buffet gala dinner and a glass of sparkling wine.

ITINERARY

29 Dec
Fly to Stockholm and check into Hotel Diplomat for 1 night. Evening at leisure in Stockholm.

30 Dec
Day at leisure in Stockholm. The must sees in Stockholm are The Vasa museum, Skansen open air museum and the Old Town

Depart Stockholm at 17:00. Your accommodation is booked in B grade inside cabin (upgrades available).

31 Dec
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast buffet while approaching Helsinki. You can leave your luggage in your cabin while you go out and explore the Finnish capital. Arrival to Helsinki at 09:55 and day at leisure.

Return to the ship and depart at 17:00 for Stockholm. New Year’s Gala buffet dinner is served in the restaurant inc. wine and a glass of sparkling wine.

The ships are known for their entertainment so New Year will be welcomed with a special programme on Promenade deck.

Arrive to Stockholm at 09:30 and self transfer to the airport and fly home. Alternatively you can add extra nights in Stockholm
