Celebrate at sea on this round-trip cruise from Stockholm to Helsinki. Start in the Swedish capital with a night at the Hotel Diplomat. Explore the buzzing old town, Gamla Stan, try a locally brewed beer or two and don’t forget to visit the fascinating Vasa Museum. On 30 December you’ll board a Tallink Silja ship and sail out through the beautiful Stockholm archipelago, past floating pack ice and nature’s own ice sculptures, arriving the next morning in Helsinki. You’ll have nearly the whole day to explore the Finnish capital, ducking into museums or stopping off at cafes for cinnamon buns and steaming hot chocolate. The cruise reaches its crescendo as you sail back to Stockholm, seeing in the New Year with a buffet gala dinner and a glass of sparkling wine.

Hotel, Activity and Local Information
Hotel Diplomat, the exclusive privately-run four-star lifestyle hotel, is superbly situated in the heart of the swedish capital, on Stockholm´s fashionable boulevard. The rooms offer a fantastic view over the city skyline and the picturesque scenery of steamboats returning to Nybroviken. The classic art nouveau building from 1914 has 130 individually designed rooms and suites. Internationally renouwned architect Per Öberg lies behind the recently completed renovation. A design that brilliantly combines the classical features of the Art Nouveau building, with modern influences.
A cruise on the Silja Serenade or Symphony is like a city break in the Middle-Europe: imagine yourself walking on a shopping street! The heart of the ship is the pedestrian street Promenade, where you can find a wide variety of shops, fashinating cafés and restaurants of a high standard.
