The Guardian newspaper called a drive along The Atlantic Road "the world’s best road trip". Just five miles along, it zigzags across eight low bridges that jut out above the sea, linking the islands between Molde and Kristiansund and is part of a longer drive that runs south along the coast from Kristiansund to Alesund. In calm weather, it offers chances to spot seals and whales and boasts idyllic sports for fishing, diving and picnicking.
This suggested itinerary sees you fly to Oslo where you’ll stay for two nights before flying to Molde. As well as access to The Atlantic Road, Molde offers fantastic views of Romsdalsfjord and the 222 mountain peaks that surround it, and it is within easy reach of spectacular Geirangerfjord and the fearsome Trollstigen Mountain Road.
This tour is fully-flexible and can be tailored to suit your own requirements.
