Escape to Iceland for a romantic getaway! Stay in a luxurious countryside hotel and sip champagne in a hot tub (hopefully) under the Northern Lights.

Iceland has the perfect setting for a romantic break; log cabin hotels in the countryside, hot tubs, Northern Lights and natural wonders. On arrival to the airport you’ll pick up the rental car and start your journey towards Hella and Hotel Ranga. Upon entering Hotel Ranga, you will be greeted by a towering 10-foot tall polar bear named Hrammur that resides in the lobby. This is just a prelude to the cozy ambience that you will encounter that vibrates throughout the hotel.

The only 4 star hotel in South Iceland, Hotel Ranga is also famous for its mouth watering cuisine so be sure to try Icelandic delicacies while there! Close to the hotel are Dyrholaey bird cliffs and black sand beaches and Skogafoss waterfall which you can explore on your own on day 2. You can even order a picnic basket from the hotel and have a romantic picnic outdoors! Day 3 you’ll drive to Reykjavik. On the way you will see glaciers, geysers and waterfalls before arriving to Reykavik in the afternoon. Finish off the holiday by staying in the 4 star hotel Nordica which boasts the country’s best spa and a gourmet restaurant.

Price includes return economy class flights, all airport taxes, rental car (group B such as Toyota Corolla or similar) for 3 x 24 hours inc. unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, theft protection and 1 driver, 2 nights at Hotel Ranga in a superior double room, 1 night at Hotel Nordica in Hilton Guest room and 3 breakfasts. Car upgrade to 4WD on request. The holiday can be extended at Hotel Ranga or Reykjavik.
