Scandinavia holidays

Scandinavia is a region of northern Europe that geographically consists of Norway, Sweden and Denmark. In modern times, Finland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands are also considered a part of this geographical area, especially in terms of cultural and historic relationships.

Sweden has majestic mountains and glaciers, as well as wide-open countryside, interspersed by small idyllic villages and vibrant cities such as the capital, Stockholm. The Swedish landscape features countless lakes and waterways, surrounded by vast pine and spruce forests in the north, mixed with oak, birch and other leafy forests further south.
Norway has a natural majesty to itself, you will discover a country, which is enchantingly unique and natural, where light and darkness intertwine and where seasons melt together in vibrant colours.

As the country that links the rest of Scandinavia with continental Europe, Denmark has always benefited from a unique stream of cultural influences: a cosmopolitan culture with staunch traditions in art, ballet, opera and theatre is married with Nordic simplicity and the clean lines of our architecture and design.

Finland is the land with thousand lakes, where east meets west, the home of sauna and of course Santa Claus. Finland is perhaps best known for its tranqility and beautiful nature. Vast forests, a unique archipelago and thousands of lakes present a striking mixture of wooded hills and waters. All of this is complemented by Finnish hospitality and genuinely friendly people.

Iceland is a red hot destination and we dont just mean the volcanic and geothermal activity! Much of Iceland is still taking shape before your very eyes — raw, dramatic landscapes born from volcanic eruptions and carved out by glaciers. Other parts have hardly changed since the first Viking settlers saw them more than 1,100 years ago. You’ll experience wilderness and wildlife, energy and total calm, within easy reach wherever you stay, even on day trips.
