Brief encounter with Stockholm
Follow in the footsteps of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo through Stockholm’s medieval old town and don’t miss the Vasa Museum, home to the only intact 17th century warship to have ever been salvaged.
Stockholm is the scene of Scandinavian design and international trends, where even the seasoned traveller always discovers something new. Each part of the city is different, so those in search of more hidden gems should boldly venture further away from Drottningsgatan and let the underground carry them away from the city centre. Ostermalm is where you will find designer brands and Vasastan is the Mecca of antiques buffs, while Sodermalm boasts the trendiest cafes and shops in the whole of Stockholm.
