Summer wedding in Iceland

Oddi Church in the south coast of Iceland offers a romantic setting for a summer wedding.

It is one of the oldest church sites in Iceland as it first became famous around the middle of the 11th century, when a church was built there. The current Oddi church was erected in 1924 and has recently been comprehensively restored to a very intimate and romantic place of worship. The stunning surroundings offer panoramic view of South Iceland. Alternatively you can get married by one of South Iceland stunning waterfalls.

The world's northernmost capital is framed by the majestic Mt. Esja, and the blue waters of Faxafloi Bay and Snaefellsjokull glacier appears crystal-like and baby-blue on the western horizon.
