The price is based on 2 people sharing and includes international flights from London Gatwick to Tromso, resort transfers, 3 nights accommodation in a family apartment on a half board basis with 1 dinner in the Laavo tent, husky safari, hunting the Northern Lights adventure, Sami Siidi & Reindeer experience.

ITINERARY
Day 1
Fly from Gatwick to Tromso & transfer to the Snowman Resort, a 2-hour scenic drive from the airport (transfer included). Check into your accommodation and relax before dinner in a traditional Sami Laavo tent.
Day 2
After breakfast you will have a truly memorable meeting with the local husky dogs who will then drive you into the Snowman wilderness. Each sledge is pulled by 4-6 dogs and you may even get the chance to drive your own team.
You will have the rest of the afternoon at your leisure to appreciate the surroundings and resort facilities.
After dinner you will be joining a hunt for the Northern Lights. You are taken out to a special viewing area, a fortress of snow. Accompanied by an aurora guide who is equipped with a powerful telescope for even more impressive viewing. There is also plenty of Snowball hot toddy and snacks on hand to warm you up which watching this natural spectacular.
Day 3
Following breakfast you will get the opportunity to be introduced to the local Sami culture. Sit by the fire in a Laavo (Sami tent) where a Sami host will tell you stories of the people and their reindeer. Try to throw a Sami lasso, drive a reindeer sledge or listen to the traditional song “joik” while eating the nourishing Sami soup ‘Bidos’
The remainder of they day is at your leisure.
Day 4
Have an unhurried breakfast and leisurely morning before you depart for Tromso and your return journey back to London with a suitcase full of memories.
Hotel, Activity and Local Information
Alpine Village is located right beside Café Utsikten at Snowman Resort, offering 46 apartments and a total sleeping capacity of 276 guests. The apartments are situated just a stone’s throw from the Top Lift. The apartments each have a total floor area of 70 m² with three bedrooms and a total of six beds. The apartments sleep up to eight people if two people can sleep in the bunks in two of the bedrooms. The apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen, TV, fire place, sauna and private balcony.
