TimeOut! Winter break in Harriniva

Price is based on 2 people sharing a room and includes return economy class flights from London Heathrow/Manchester to Kittila via Helsinki, all airport taxes, return airport transfers Kittila-Harriniva-Kittila, 4 nights accommodation in Harriniva hotel in double/twin room, breakfasts and dinners daily, hotel saunas daily between 5pm and 7pm (separately for men and women), snowmobile safari 30 km (2 persons per snowmobile), husky safari 17 km (2 persons per husky team) and thermal clothing.

Departures: on Sundays 18 November-13 December 2012 and 6 January-13 April 2013.
 

Day 1: Sunday
Fly from London Heathrow or Manchester to Kittila via Helsinki and transfer to Harriniva Hotel which lies by Muonio River in Western Lapland. Check in to your room for 4 nights. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Monday
Breakfast at the hotel. At noon you will meet your guide who will give you the snowmobile driving instructions and tell you the safety regulations. After that you will start the safari through forests, fells and frozen lakes. Safari is also suitable for beginners. The distance you drive today is approx 30 km.

The afternoon is at leisure. You can go skiing on your own or book additional safaris such as Northern Lights snowmobiling.

After action packed day a relaxing sauna is waiting for you. The dinner is served in the restaurant.

Day 3: Tuesday
After breakfast you will meet with your guide and happy huskies - there are over 400 husky dogs in Harriniva husky farm. After the safety instructions you will start the 2-hour husky safari and set off for a 17 km long safari through snowy wilderness. Afternoon is free time for optional activities.

Day 4: Wednesday
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is for leisure. You can go skiing or make a snowshoe tour or book additional programmes.

After the breakfast transfer to Kittila airport and flight home via Helsinki.
