Price is based on 2 people sharing and includes return flights from London to Lulea via Stockholm with SAS, transfer from airport to your hotel, 2 nights at Elite Stadshotellet in Lulea on BB basis, guided transfer from Lulea to TreeHotel, 1 night in either The Blue Cone, Bird’s Nest, UFO or The Cabin on a BB basis and transfer from Treehotel to Lulea airport. Below is our suggested itinerary but do call and talk to the experts to tailor-make your own break and for optional excursions.

Day 1: Arrival
Fly from London Heathrow to Lulea with SAS (via Stockholm). Your hosts will meet you at the Lulea airport and welcome you to Lapland and transfer you to your hotel. Check in to Elite Stadshotel for 2 nights.

Evening is free to explore Lulea or take an optional excursion.

Day 2: Lulea

Day at leisure to choose your optional activities. Luleå Archipelago is situated along the coastline that stretches from the Västerbotten border in the south to the Finish border in the northeast. With over 700 islands, it is one of the most picturesque archipelagos in the country, offering rich and varied plant and bird life and in winter it is a frozen  landscape perfect for snowmobile and dogsledding tours and of course ice fishing. There is even a hovercraft experience out across the ice in winter and spring.

On clear evening and night keep a look out into the skies to the north of Luleå. With luck you will see the beautiful skimmer of the colorful Northern Lights.

Day 3: TreeHotel

Your adventure begins immediately with a 1.5 hr guided tour through Luleå and along the Luleå river valley to the Treehotel. During the tour you will visit the world heritage Gammelstad Church village which is the best preserved example of a type of town that was once widespread throughout northern Scandinavia. Upon arrival check-in to your chosen cabin. The afternoon/evening is at your leisure giving you time to absorb and breathe in the atmosphere. We can arrange dinner in the guesthouse should you so wish. 

Day 4: Departure

After breakfast it’s time to check out and join a guided transfer for the return journey to Lulea for your return flight home. 

This holiday can be extended in Lulea, Treehotel or Stockholm or alternatively you can add stay at Ice Hotel.
