Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel is located in Norwegian Lapland near the town of Alta. Its intimate atmosphere and beautiful designs have helped establish it as one the most romantic and remarkable of the world’s designer igloos. Though the ceremony will take place in Sorrisniva’s Ice Chapel – beautifully decorated with hand-crafted ice sculptures – you’ll spend all but one night at the Thon Hotel Vica Alta, a converted farm in the old part of Alta, renowned for its friendly service and mouthwatering cuisine. After the ceremony and the obligatory photographs (a photographer can be arranged at additional cost), guests will enjoy aperitifs in the Ice Bar and dinner at the acclaimed Laksestua restaurant. Spend your wedding night in a bridal igloo, waking to a morning sauna, breakfast at Sorrisniva and an exhilarating snowmobile safari.Round off your wedding package with a final night in Alta, soaking in the hotel’s hot tubs, hopefully beneath the swirls of the ethereal Northern Lights.
