This magical getaway to Lapland is perhaps the ultimate in New Year’s fun. Of course, fizz and fireworks will mark the occasion (hopefully joined by a display of the Northern Lights) but the activities don’t end there. The included excursions range from dogsledding and snowmobile safaris to reindeer sleigh rides and snowshoe campfire trips. What’s more, alongside your hearty full-board dining, you’ll even be treated to a special lunch in an ice restaurant. In all, this is a perfect trip for both couples and families, all knitted together by included transfers.

To start your truly magical New Year’s Eve, an included transfer will bring you to a local reindeer farm. Here, you’ll have the chance to meet and feed these adorable creatures before learning how to throw a lasso and heading out on an evocative sleigh ride through the snow. You’ll then be brought on to a spectacular ice village for lunch, taken among frozen statues and beautiful carvings. The afternoon is then given over to meeting the resident huskies, where, under expert tuition, you’ll learn to mush a sled through the forest.
