Day by day itinerary

  • Day 1 » Luleå Archipelago

    Fly to Luleå in the heart of Swedish Lapland and head to Sörbyn Lodge where your adventure begins. Located on a beautiful lake near the small village of Sörbyn, accommodation here includes traditional timber cabins as well as newly renovated hotel rooms, but it's the outstanding food that grabs most of the headlines, with local ingredients such as fish, moose, reindeer and cloudberries being used to attract locals from miles around. The lack of light pollution makes it an excellent place to watch the Northern Lights, while an impressive array of winter activities includes snowmobile tours, ice fishing, cross-country skiing and most notably husky safaris.

  • Day 2 » Husky Safari and optional excursions

    Begin your morning by enjoying a leisurely breakfast at Sorbyn, enjoying the peace and tranquility surrounding the lodge. After breakfast today enjoy a highlight of your stay at Sorbyn: a very special husky safari with Isdimma Huskies. This is one of the best husky experiences in Scandinavia, a superbly run family business that uses teams of beautiful, purebred Siberian huskies and allows guests the chance to relax with the dogs and learn about their lives, making this a very personal and extremely rewarding experience and a fantastic way to experience the snow-laden forests and frozen lakes of Swedish Lapland.

  • Day 3 » Treehotel

    After breakfast today enjoy some free time in the beautiful surroundings before being transferred to the incredible Treehotel in Harads. Here you will spend two nights in in one of the hotel's unique tree house rooms as well as enjoying some of the many activities on offer. Your accommodation for the night will be in either the Cabin, Bird's Nest, Blue Cone, the UFO or, the all-new Biosphere. Speak to our specialists about the options available as prices can vary. In the evening, enjoy a three-course buffet dinner at Britta's Guesthouse.

  • Day 4 » Treehotel – snowmobile safari

    Start your day by venturing through the snowy trees to Britta’s guesthouse where you will enjoy a warming breakfast. Today you will enjoy a 2 hour snowmobile safari through the beautiful winter landscape surrounding Treehotel. The rest of your day is free to enjoy some of the many optional activities available. These include dog sledding, a horse and sleigh ride or a cultural visit to a Sami village. Another option is an afternoon skiing at the nearby resort of Storklinten. This evening you will experience one of Treehotel’s most unique experiences: Dining on Ice with a chance to see the Northern Lights. The evening is lit by torches and candles while you are served a three-course dinner in a heated tipi tent on an ice covered lake. You'll sit on reindeer skins while enjoying a fantastic meal over two-and-a-half delicious hours.

  • Day 5 » Departure

    After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport in Luleå in time for your onward flight.
