Day 2 » Huskies, snowmobiles & infinity pools
Wake to a leisurely breakfast before embarking on two of Lapland's most iconic winter experiences. Your first adventure begins with a guided journey by snowmobile sledge to a nearby husky farm, where eager sled dogs await. Following an introduction to the huskies and the traditions of Arctic mushing, set off across beautiful frozen lakes, picturesque forest trails and open fell landscapes. Along the way, there will be opportunities to pause for photographs and hear stories from your guide about life in this remote region. After returning to Arcora for a warm hearty lunch, it's time to experience the freedom of Lapland by snowmobile. Here you'll gain a fascinating insight into a way of life that has shaped the region for generations. Meet the reindeer, learn about the traditions of herding and glide through the winter landscape on a peaceful reindeer safari, experiencing Lapland at a gentler pace. If you wish, there will be a chance to feed the reindeer before returning to Arcora where a warm lunch awaits.
After lunch, travel into neighbouring Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, one of Finland's most treasured wilderness areas.
