And, while there’s a chance to spot the aurora each night, we’ve included a Northern Lights tour. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the Lapland winter wilderness on snowmobiles, husky sleds and even ice roads that lead between archipelago islands.

Day by day itinerary

  • Day 1 » UK/Luleå

Flying out to Luleå, you’ll be met at the airport by your included transfer for the short journey to your chosen accommodation. The Elite Stadshotellet is a grand, redbrick landmark, while our upgraded option, the Clarion Hotel Sense, offers spa facilities, contemporary-chic rooms and spectacular harbour views from its top-floor bar. Whichever you choose, you’ll be centrally located, with all of the city’s delights within easy reach. And, after you’ve explored its imposingly Gothic cathedral and unique art galleries, be sure to taste your way through its innovative dining scene. There’s everything from traditional bakeries and seafood bistros to cocktail grills and craft breweries that serve up moose tacos.

Otherwise, turn out into the archipelago to explore remote islands on a unique network of ice roads and natural ice rinks. Then, come the evening, you’ll be treated to an included Northern Lights tour. After consulting the forecast, your expert guide and aurora photography professional will bring you out to chase the aurora and that perfect shot of them. To keep you cosy, you’ll be provided with warm drink and snacks.
