A four-day break in Levi's famous winter playground, with a base in a truly luxurious alpine villa

» 4 day tailor-made break

» Price from: £3,845 pp incl. flights

A truly luxurious take on a traditional Finnish log-cabin experience, this four-day break includes a thrilling husky safari, a northern hunt by snowshoes or snowmobile and a guided reindeer ride through Levi’s snow-dusted pines. It’s a programme of excursions enjoyed from your base at Levi Spirit Villas, whose chic Nordic design sets the scene for Jacuzzi baths, log-burning stoves, a private sauna and gourmet meals cooked by a private chef.

Day by day itinerary

  • Day 1 » Fly to Kittilä

Fly out to Kittlä in Finnish Lapland, where you’ll be met for an included transfer to Levi Spirit Villas, a collection of private and ever-so-stylish houses in a truly stunning alpine setting. Bringing a slice of indulgent luxury to Finnish Lapland’s wild and wintry wilderness, each villa provides the perfect blend of contemporary sophistication, pristine nature and thrilling Arctic adventure. On arrival enjoy welcome champagne and canapes, this evening, enjoy the first of your included dinners, three-course affairs served in your villa. We can arrange a private chef, for you to be served by your personal butler, or even arrange for a bartender to pour and serve your drinks.

  • Day 2 » Huskies & Northern Lights

After a first cosseting night in your villa, it’s time to head out into the frozen forest – after a butler-served breakfast, of course. First on the agenda is a husky-sledding excursion. And, with two to a sled and expert instruction included, there’s the chance to drive your own team, or sit back and enjoy the view, as you make your way along silent trails beneath the snow-laden canopy. Then, after an afternoon of fireside relaxation and another delicious dinner – perhaps this time at the excellent Kuura Brasserie or Colorado Bar & Grill in Levi – you’ll step out once more, this time on either snowshoes or snowmobiles in search of the Northern Lights.

  • Day 3 » Reindeer sledding

A change of pace today as your included excursion introduces you to the local reindeer herd. For centuries, the Sami people have relied on these animals for warmth, food and transport, and you’ll see just how effective they are at tackling the deep snow as you’re led on a wonderfully serene sleigh ride through the wilderness. Then, a free afternoon invites more luxury-lodge relaxation or the chance to explore Levi’s famed alpine playground – the downhill skiing here is among the best in Finland. This evening, say goodbye to your villa in style with a final gourmet dinner, a sauna and, with luck, a last chance to see the aurora dancing across the sky.

  • Day 4 » Depart for home

After breakfast, transfer to Kittilä for your flight home.
