Day 1 » Tromso
Fly to Tromso, the gateway to Norway’s Arctic, and transfer to your city-centre hotel. This charming town is found on an island encircled by fjords and mountains and, with a day free to explore, there are any number of optional excursions to choose from including scenic cruises, Northern Lights safaris and even snowmobiling tours. Or, you might prefer to simply relax and explore at your own pace; with several museums, a burgeoning restaurant scene and number of lively pubs and bars, there's plenty on offer to while away the hours.

Day 2 » Malangen Resort
It's Christmas Eve, and you'll begin the festivities with a transfer to Malangen Resort, a fjord-side property offering traditional Norwegian cabins and a host of winter activities. On arrival, take time to get to know Malangen’s guides and to explore the local area before indulging in a special festive dinner. Once you've had your fill, get involved in the celebrations that will continue long into the night.

A white Christmas is all but guaranteed, and you'll begin the festivities with a thrilling husky safari to explore Malangen's wintry surrounds. After an action-packed morning spend your afternoon, as dictated by Christmas day traditions, relaxing in your cosy cabin.

Day 4 » Malangen Resort
You'll have boxing day free to partake in all manner of optional winter excursions. Choose between snowmobiling and snowshoeing or head out into the wilds on skis. Meanwhile, back at the resort, there are warming saunas and hot tubs on hand. After dinner this evening, head out to the Malangen's very own wilderness camp to go in search of the Northern Lights.
