Heading out into one of Svalbard’s historic fjords, this kayaking adventure offers the chance to explore the region’s natural beauty up close. You’ll leave colourful Longyearbyen behind to paddle up its fjord, taking in the dramatic moraine landscape as you go. Don’t forget to keep your eyes out for the local residents, including curious seals and – over summer – hundreds of species of migratory birds. It all centres around a trip to Hiorthhamn – a ghost town brought to life by your local guide. You’ll also be treated to lunch on its beach, before paddling back to town. To ensure a smooth sailing, return accommodation transfers and an entire raft of safety equipment is all included.
