Days 1-2 » UK/Stockholm
Flying into Stockholm, you’ll be perfectly sited to explore the Swedish capital over the next two days with a stay in the King’s Garden Hotel, centrally located next to the Royal Garden. A blend of modern design and historic, Gustavian architecture, it’s the perfect introduction to Stockholm’s contrasting delights. Here, fashionista Scandi chic sits alongside the heritage beauty of Gamla Stan – one of Europe’s largest and best-preserved medieval centres, complete with cobbled streets, golden buildings and frescoed churches. We also recommend making the most of the summer weather with a trip out among the Stockholm Archipelago, hopping between islands where soft sands front green forests and red-timber huts.

Day 3 » ICEHOTEL 365, warm chalet
Flying out into the depths of Swedish Lapland you’ll arrive at Kiruna where a short, included transfer will bring you through great evergreen forests to the ICEHOTEL. Once arrived, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the wilds of this remote region on a full range of optional activities. Hiking and biking trails weave among pine trees and up rocky escarpments while the next-door Thorne River offers everything from fishing to rafting and canoeing. It’s all beautified by the ethereal presence of the Midnight Sun. And, at day’s end, you’ll return to the comforts of a cosy warm chalet, delightfully styled in blonde wood.

Day 4 » ICEHOTEL 365, Art Suite
Today you’ll be treated to a much-anticipated guided tour of the ICEHOTEL 365. You’ll learn how an international team of artists have carved a stunning array of icy spectacles, adding intricate details and sculptures to suites, hallways and the entirely frozen ICEBAR where drinks are served in, you guessed it, ice. You’ll also check in to your Art Suite, an individually designed showcase where everything from sweeping staircases to giant jellyfish are lit by twinkling lights. There’s also some time for some further exploration today; perhaps book onto a wilderness skills session to get a true taste of life in Swedish Lapland’s remotes.

After a night on the ice – wrapped up in a thermal sleeping bag and reindeer skins – you’ll awake to a hot, lingonberry juice before warming back up with a sauna visit. Then, enjoy your final breakfast, designed by a Michelin-trained chef, before an included transfer sees you back to the airport.
