» 5 day tailor-made holiday

» Price from: £1,830 pp incl. flights

From the frozen beauty of the ICEHOTEL and the art-installation Treehotel to the floating designer spa of the Arctic Bath, this is the ultimate appreciation of Swedish innovation. It’s all linked by included transfers and a trip aboard the Arctic Circle Train. What’s more, you’ll also enjoy plenty of autumn fun in Swedish Lapland. Return from days spent on forest hikes and lake paddles to spectacular displays of the Northern Lights, included gourmet meals and an included spa at the Arctic Bath.

Day by day itinerary

  • Day 1 » UK/ICEHOTEL 365

Flying out into the depths of Swedish Lapland, an included transfer will see you to your unique accommodation. Ironically fuelled by the solar power of the Midnight Sun, the ICEHOTEL’s bar, gallery and suites are kept frozen year-round. Expect everything from ethereally lit sculptures to great sweeping arches. Indeed, it’s the largest permanent art exhibit north of Stockholm, something showcased with your spectacular ice room. Whatever you choose, keep your eyes out for any displays of the magical Northern Lights.

    Stay: ICEHOTEL 365

  • Day 2 » ICEHOTEL 365

After warming up with the sauna and hearty breakfast, you’ll have the option of a full range of activities, each taking in your stunning Arctic-Circle setting. Campfire dinners and wilderness skills sessions introduce you to survival in the high north, while river rafting, sauna rituals and wildlife photography courses offer more traditional fun. You can spot moose and reindeer among the surrounding woodlands, while ice sculpting class and Northern Lights safari are further highlights. At the day’s end, you’ll settle into your cosy warm room, all evocative timber cladding.

    Stay: ICEHOTEL 365

    Meals: Breakfast

  • Day 3 » Arctic Circle Train and Treehotel

After breakfast and an included transfer, you’ll board the Arctic Circle Train, sweeping along rivers and through dense forests to arrive at the cute village of Harads. Here, you’ll be brought to your unique accommodation on an included transfer. With a choice of unique treehouses, you can stay in everything from a mirrored cube or a bird’s nest to a UFO or the all-new Biosphere, all strung up high in the canopy. Then, alongside an included gourmet three-course dinner, you might have time for a hike, kayak paddle or visit to a husky farm.

    Stay: Treehotel, Sweden

    Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 4 » Arctic Bath

You’ll have this morning to enjoy the Treehotel’s gorgeous surrounds, before a short, included transfer sees you onto the ultra-contemporary Arctic Bath. You’ll be staying in a private free-floating cabin on the river, complete with open fire and private deck for aurora viewing. You’ll also enjoy full spa access. Housed in a modernist spectacle perched right on the water, it offers everything from treatment rooms and saunas to a lounge and an interior cold pool, right in the river. And, along with an included spa ritual, you’ll also be treated to a five-course gourmet dinner.

    Stay: Arctic Bath, Harads

    Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 5 » Depart for UK

After a final breakfast, an included transfer will see you to the airport for your flight home.
